Folio Folio Fun

Hi! Welcome to my blog once again...

Working in my recent company makes me meet different people all over the world. I have come to discover their cultures, the way they work, their different point of views on life. As an engineer, I work with machine operators who absolutely helped me a lot in sustaining a smooth flow in the production floor.

Sometimes, different priorities in life set in...
Two of my operators have resigned. But it would not mean our friendship just ends there.
As a tribute, I have made them a token of appreciation to show my gratitude.

They are actually folios. The first one is a flip folio with an Out of This World title. It has a double meaning. He is will out of the world of semiconductor industry because he resigns and he is one of a kind person who can be trusted and relied on. I have used one of the tutorials from Kathy Orta's Interactive Scrapbook. I have used DCWV All About A Boy  paper collection and a Kraft cardstock as base.

The second folio is from one of the tutorials of My Sister's Scrapper Folio. Again I have used DCWV All About a Boy paper collection and Kraft cardstock as base.

Indeed, my operators are Winners and Out of this World!

I had fun making these folios- simple yet inspiring.

That's all for now... Stay tuned to my next blog!

Sweet Sentiments Wedding Album

Hi! Welcome to my blog!

I had made something so interesting for the past few weeks. My best friend from New Zealand asked me to make a scrapbook mini album for our schoolmate who got hooked last year. She asked me if I can incorporate a coral-mint colored theme on the scrapbook.

While I was going through my stash, I stumbled to my Graphic45 Sweet Sentiments Paper Collection. I was reserving it for a special album (which I still don't know yet,LOL!), but I thought it would be a great paper to use and can match my Bestie's request.
I have always loved Graphic45 papers because of its unique design and very durable paper.

Following Kathy Orta's tutorial on Mini Duo Scrapbook, I have made an elegant album which can fit 4x6 photos (perfect fit for a non-scrapbooker). It has 6 pages and it is a pocket-style album. I have also used the card embellishments that came with it...

The front cover was a challenge for me because I wanted to feature the theme plus the paper I used, in the simplest design as possible. I have placed a coral-colored flower and some white prima flowers for the finish. In the spine, I have placed the couple's names using Thickers from my stash.

I have also made a box and I have to say, it took me a while to make one hehe... Fortunately, it was a success!!! Then a simple card with the "Best Wishes" note, a flower, twine and some leftover stamps from the paper collection.

Hope you all liked it... That's all and thanks for visiting!

Xoxo

About me

Hi! I am Dyan Elaine Ganzon. Welcome to my blog. I am not usually a blogger but the purpose of this blog is to share with you all the stuffs I love to create. I, definitely, love scrapbooking. It is one way of archiving all the great memories and inspiration I have been experiencing every moments of my/our life. I am not really that artistic or a creative thingy, but my love for colourful papers motivates me to create something wonderful.

I started this kind of venture when I gave birth to my first daughter. I wanted to keep significant events of her life. Isn't amazing that as time goes by, when you look at those pictures, you reminisce all those cherished moments as if you wanted to feel the extraordinary happiness you felt before? So pleasant...

As a scrapbooker, I am fond of creating mini albums. I follow tutorials, some I create by my own. I also love handmade cards. I tend to be over decorative sometimes *wink because I wanted to put everything on my craft! LOL!

This page (or my blog) will tell you more of me, my CRAFTITUDE!!! Hope you enjoy my mini page.

Gertrude Eila's Baby Shower

Hi! Welcome to my blog!
I am so delighted to share with you the details of our recently hosted baby shower for my second baby girl. Here goes...

Isn't the color so lovely? So baby! LOL! I have chosen baby pink and lime green as the main color theme. It is just so cool in the eyes and very fancy. The background also served as the backdrop for photo-taking.

This was how the photo altar looked like. I had bought the large baby bottle from a local grocery store and I thought it would be a cute addition to this hehe.

The food! yum yum... O well, I have to admit, I did not do all that... But I helped during the preparation hehe... I am more on the dessert part. The other food were cooked by my loving hubby and housemate.

Cupcakes are just yum yum!!! I have used my Silhouette to cut the cupcake holders and the It's a Girl.

I had made this cute little baby shoes and placed a bag of chocolates, jelly beans and marshmallows inside as a Thank You token to all our visitors who came that day. Silhouette did a great job!

The party was not that grand like the first one. I probably should have set on an earlier date. Some of our friends had to go home to the Philippines to spend the holidays there. Anyway, it was still fun and  happy because it was my first time to host a party where I can still be crafty.

We thank all our visitors who came and celebrated with us in welcoming our 2nd baby girl.

Hope you enjoy this blog! See you next time...
